How Educational Leaders Might Use Blogs
Blogs are personal publishing tools that educational leaders can use to collaborate with other leaders even if they are thousands of miles away. Blogs are also used throughout school districts for professional discussions anytime and anywhere. A blog can be a foundation for an educational leader as a source of professional learning. Blogs provide the ability to connect people to resources and ideas that before they would never had the ability to do. Blogs also provide collaborative learning experiences for educational leaders. Administrators can use blogs to reflect on their experiences and at the same time, learn what other administrators around the world are reflecting about. It would be nice if blogging became part of every educational leaders' daily routine.

Blogs are definitely a great means to collaborate with other professionals from different places. You are so right about blogs being sources of professional learning. We can learn about other leaders' first-hand experiences through their blogs and share ours with them.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a pretty blog spot. I like your choice of soothing colors. I agree that blogs are a terrific means to collaborate with colleagues as well as students. I can't wait to connect with my classes next school year using blogging techniques I have learned in this partnership program.
